Whenever you use the Kahve Molasi application (including the desktop version) (“App”), visit our websites or microsites (such as Kahve-Molasi.dating), or interact with our digital products and services (like contests or surveys), we may collect certain data from you. We refer to all these platforms collectively as “Services” in this Privacy Policy. You may also choose to share information with other users (“Users”), including your friends and contacts, through the App or Services. At times, we may also need to share your data with third parties. This Privacy Policy also explains how we protect your personal data when it is transferred internationally. Kahve Molasi is a software product developed by NeuroTech Ai Solutions FZCO (“we,” “us,” or “Kahve Molasi”), and we are the data controller responsible for the personal data collected and processed through the App and Services. When setting up your Account, you’ll also be asked to create a password. You can view and update this information at any time through your Account or by contacting our support team. (Location data is collected automatically if you grant the App location access in your device settings.) It is your responsibility to ensure your Account information remains up to date. For example, if you change your phone number, please update it in the App.

The information we collect helps us improve the App and verify that our users are real people (bots aren't welcome!). Some details, like sexual preferences, may be visible to others who view your profile.

We encourage thoughtful sharing of information on your profile. For your safety, we recommend not including sensitive personal data such as:

Verification Data (including biometric data)

To enhance safety and improve your experience, we may request that users verify their accounts. This could include confirming your phone number or optionally submitting a verification photo. This helps us ensure you're a real person and prevents fake profiles that could be used for fraud or other cybercrimes.

Verification may be required if suspicious activity is detected. If you verify your profile photo, we will review the image and use facial recognition technology to confirm your identity. This verification image is not added to your profile but may be stored to help validate future profile photos. Verified profiles receive a blue “Verified” badge.

Purchase Information
If you choose to purchase premium features, we process your payment information and store it securely for fraud prevention, tax, and audit purposes.

Kahve Molasi uses automated systems to detect fraudulent payments. If a payment meets certain risk criteria or violates our terms, it may be automatically canceled. Affected users will be notified and may contact us to appeal.

If your account is suspended for any reason, your profile on other platforms under the Kahve Molasi Group (e.g., Bumble) may also be suspended as a preventive measure against spam and fraud.

Location Services
If you grant location access through your device settings, we may collect location data via Wi-Fi access points and GPS coordinates. We use this data to enhance your experience — for example, to show your profile to users near you or personalize suggestions.

When using the App, we may collect device-related data like Unique Device Identifier (UDI), device model, and operating system. If granted permission, we may also access your contacts to help connect you with friends — but only for that purpose.

We may track how you interact with links displayed on Kahve Molasi, including third-party links and redirects. We may share aggregated click statistics, such as the number of clicks on a particular link.

Other Contributions
From time to time, we may invite you to participate in surveys for research purposes or contact you to ask whether you’d like to provide feedback, serve as a testimonial, or take part in marketing campaigns (for example, if you tell us you met someone through the app, we may ask if you'd like to be featured in a Kahve Molasi ad). Participation is voluntary, and full details will be provided when we reach out. If you prefer not to be contacted for surveys or marketing campaigns, you may notify our support team through the feedback page.

Contacting Our Support Team
If you contact our support team via the feedback form, we may collect your email address, your IP address, and any other information you provide in order to process your request. We may retain our correspondence with you for up to 6 years, including complaints you submit about other users and complaints others may submit about you—even if your account has been deleted.

When you visit our pages or use our app, we may automatically collect personal data using cookies or similar technologies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device or browser that helps us recognize you and verify your identity. Our goal is to make your Kahve Molasi experience as enjoyable as possible. To achieve this, we may use your registration data and other information to:

Matching Algorithms
We aim to help foster meaningful and equal relationships. Our matching algorithms use various indicators from user profiles (such as how you swipe or whom you match with) to predict compatibility and suggest potentially suitable matches. These indicators aim to show each user the most relevant profiles, increasing the chances of forming a meaningful connection.

The legal basis for processing profile and environmental data is to fulfill our contractual services under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). When processing activity-based data, we rely on our legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f), particularly to provide personalized and relevant recommendations. If you provide sensitive data (e.g., religious beliefs) on your profile, the processing of that data is based on your explicit and voluntary consent.

Moderation Practices
We use automated systems and a moderation team to review accounts and messages (including uploaded photos and profile content) for potential violations of our Terms of Use. If an account or message meets certain criteria indicating a potential breach, the account may receive a warning, be restricted, or suspended. Affected users may contact Kahve Molasi to dispute such decisions. If you share content that violates our Terms of Use, your account may be suspended or restricted.

Legal Basis
Under EU and UK data protection laws, we are required to inform you of the legal bases we rely on when processing your data. These are outlined in the table provided in this policy. If a legal basis relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. If we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT DATA DISCLOSURE

Service Providers
We engage certain trusted third parties (“Service Providers”) to perform specific functions and provide services on our behalf. The service providers with whom Kahve Molası shares users’ personal data may vary depending on the app and site the user is using. We use the following providers to deliver our services:

We carry out the necessary due diligence to ensure all our service providers have appropriate data protection and information security measures in place, and we only provide them with the personal data necessary to perform their services. Our agreements with service providers also include strict obligations regarding data storage and security.

Marketing Service Providers and Advertising Partners
We work with advertising publishers (“Advertising Partners”) to display ads in our app and websites. We also collaborate with marketing service providers (“Marketing Service Providers”) like Facebook. These partners help us market and advertise on third-party websites and apps, and measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns. For example:

We share a limited amount of personal data with the companies that assist us with marketing and advertising. This data may include:

*Hashing is an encryption method that converts information into a string of numbers and letters. This code is not directly associated with your email address. We send hashed email addresses to the marketing provider, who compares them with its own hashed user list. Matching and non-matching codes are deleted by the provider afterward. For more information about ad tracking and managing your preferences, please refer to our cookie policy. In some cases, these third parties may also use the collected data for their own purposes, such as combining it with other data to provide advertising services to other clients.

Facebook
When we share data with Facebook as a marketing service provider (including Facebook’s “Like” feature), we jointly control the data processing with Facebook Ireland. Therefore, if you wish to exercise your data rights, you should contact Facebook. For information about Facebook’s data processing policies and your rights, you can visit the Facebook Ireland Privacy Policy page. The shared data may include your actions on our website and information collected via cookies and similar technologies like the Facebook Pixel. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our ads, improve our marketing efforts, and show you and others with similar interests more relevant ads (including on social media like Facebook).

Google reCAPTCHA Service
To prevent spam and abuse, we use the reCAPTCHA verification tool in our app. This service is provided by Google LLC and is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of service. reCAPTCHA helps distinguish between human input and bot input. Certain device and app data is sent to Google servers to determine whether the actions are made by a real person. Google may also use this data to improve the reCAPTCHA service. This data may include: URLs, the user’s IP address, Google account information if the user is logged in, browser details (type, size, resolution, plugins, language settings, date), mouse and touch movements, and data collected from cookies. This process is based on our legitimate interest in protecting our app from malicious bots.

4. WHAT OTHERS CAN SEE ABOUT YOU
We provide certain features that allow our users to show how amazing they are. Our app is designed to make it easy for you to communicate and interact with other users.
When using Kahve Molasi, remember that anything you share in the app may be publicly visible to both users and non-users. Be cautious when sharing sensitive information on your profile, such as religious beliefs or health data. Information like sexual orientation is optional and you are not required to share it. Photos you upload may also contain personal information about you. By uploading photos or sharing sensitive data, you are explicitly consenting to the processing and visibility of this data by other users.
Your profile and other information you provide to the app (e.g., data obtained from your Facebook or Instagram accounts) may be viewed and shared by both users and non-users. For example, another user may take a screenshot of your profile photo and share it with their Facebook friends.
In some countries (currently only South Korea), users have the right to download their chat history, and Kahve Molasi does not have control over how these users may share or use that information.
If you log in using Facebook or another third-party account on a shared device, remember to log out to prevent others from accessing your account.

5. AGE RESTRICTION
We want as many people as possible to enjoy our platform. However, you must be at least 18 years old to use Kahve Molasi.
Kahve Molasi does not knowingly store data of children or minors, and its services are not directed at them. If we discover that a child or underage individual has registered, we will terminate the account and delete the data. We may retain the email and IP addresses of users who violate this rule to prevent them from creating new accounts.

6. SECURITY
Kahve Molasi has implemented appropriate security measures to protect your data and aims to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration of your personal information. Our technical team works to ensure a secure user experience.
However, since 100% security cannot be guaranteed on the internet, the risk of unauthorized access, hacking, or data loss cannot be completely eliminated. To help protect your data, we recommend the following:

7. LINKS TO OTHER APPLICATIONS

Login with Social Media Accounts
If you log in with your Facebook account, Facebook may share your name and profile picture with us. Unless you object, Facebook may also share your email address (if linked to your account), date of birth, profile photos, gender, liked pages, and city.
If you register or log in with your Apple ID, Apple may share your login information, name (which you can modify), and email address (Apple will generate a random address if you choose to hide it). This email will be linked to your Kahve Molasi account and used for access. These personal details are used to create your Kahve Molasi account. If you remove your Facebook or Apple account from Kahve Molasi, we will no longer have access to this information, but previously received data will be stored until your account is deleted.

Linking Social Media Accounts to Your Profile
You can link your Instagram or Facebook account to your Kahve Molasi account, allowing you to share some content (such as Instagram photos) on Kahve Molasi. We only access limited information as permitted by Instagram/Facebook and based on your consent during the linking process. To disconnect the link, you must revoke Kahve Molasi’s access in your Instagram or Facebook settings. However, any data previously retrieved will remain in your Kahve Molasi account unless it is manually deleted.

8. PERSONAL DATA SECURITY RIGHTS UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW

10. DATA STORAGE LOCATIONS
We want you to be able to access Kahve Molasi wherever you are. While the hardware is located in third-party data centers, it is owned by the Kahve Molasi Group. Data collected by advertising partners and other service providers may also be stored outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. We ensure that appropriate legal mechanisms are in place, such as EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses, and that robust contractual standards are enforced to guarantee your data is adequately protected.

11. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your personal data as long as the legal basis for its processing (as explained in Section 2 above) remains valid and as long as permitted by applicable law.
For details on the retention policy regarding biometric data, please see the “Profile Verification Information (including biometric data)” section in Section 1 above.
If you delete your profile, you should ensure that it is no longer visible in the app. If the profile is accidentally deleted, you can restore it for up to 28 days. After 28 days, we begin the process of deleting your personal data from our system, except in the following cases:

Note: Even if you delete information from your profile or close your account, copies of that information may remain visible or accessible if it was previously shared, copied, saved by others, or indexed by search engines. We cannot control or be held responsible for this. If you gave third-party applications or websites access to your personal data, they may retain the information in accordance with their own terms of use and privacy policies.
